Frank Polo will focus his efforts on finding opportunities for our youths and those reaching the age of 50. Frank Polo believes that our community benefits when we create and incentivize better jobs for all. However, young people and people over the age of 50 are among those who need the most help to find jobs. Those who don’t finish high school are more likely to lack the skills to function in this difficult labor market, more likely to be unemployed, and to become involved in crime and drugs. Moreover, those who are denied opportunities because of their age are more likely to end up homeless.
Our Future Depends on Our Youths, But Our Present on Those With the Skills and Experience
There is no doubt about the fact that young people are the future of our nation; however, not only young people are having difficulties finding a job, but also those with experience and skills who are reaching the age of 50. That is why Frank Polo will focus a large part of his work on giving opportunities to young people and those over 50 years old.
It is a fact that not all of us can be doctors, dentists, or lawyers. And this is because not everyone wants to be a doctor, dentist, or lawyer. Therefore, those who did not have the opportunity or did not want to have white-collar jobs deserve the opportunity to have higher-paying jobs.
This is What Frank Polo Will Do To Provide Opportunities For Our Youths and People over 50.
Frank Polo will work with community leaders and organizations to provide opportunities for our youths and people over 50. Moreover, Frank will work diligently to encourage the private sector to take part in mentoring and employment programs. In addition, we will focus on obtaining federal grants to improve the employability of young adults and those reaching the age of 50. Frank Polo will focus especially on those who just graduated from high school and did not pursue a career and on those skilled workers who are denied opportunity for their advanced age.
About forty-three (43) percent of the jobs in our country are in the services, technical, sales, and administrative support branches. Therefore, Frank Polo’s office will work with the private sector to create new opportunities in these areas. We’ll find training opportunities for students who have dropped out of college and those who don’t finish high school as well as for those who are denied opportunities for their age. This way, Frank Polo will provide better opportunities for our youth and those reaching 50 years of age.
